    Krista is a resident in counseling in the state of Virginia, and has completed all her hours for licensure. She is currently waiting to sit for her examination.  Krista is also a Registered Yoga instructor and facilitator.  Krista received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from ODU and her  master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University. Krista has a variety of experience in mental health settings including inpatient, intensive in-home, and outpatient. As a Adlerian-driven therapist. “I fully believe in looking at the whole person and their uniqueness while guiding you through interventions designed to help you achieve your potential and self-actualization. I hold a strong background in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have been trained in Trauma-focused CBT, CBT, DBT, SFT, EMI, and mindfulness-based interventions. I believe that it is imperative to incorporate both the mind and body into the therapeutic process. I am a wife and mom of two Golden Retrievers.
