Acacia Counseling & Consultative Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our team on a part-time basis. **Job Overview:**
As a Part-Time or Full-Time Psychotherapist, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate and effective therapy to our diverse client base. You will work remotely, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients and deliver high-quality counseling services. Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify clients’ mental health needs
– Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients’ specific goals and concerns
– Provide remote counseling sessions using telehealth platforms, ensuring a safe and confidential environment
– Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to effectively address clients’ mental health issues
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes
– Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of psychotherapy
– Attend regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills
**Requirements:**
– Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
– Valid licensure or certification as a Psychotherapist in the state of practice (where applicable) – Residents for LPC also eligible. Clinical Supervision included in employment
– Proven experience in providing remote therapy, preferably in a telehealth setting
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
– Sound knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and their application to various mental health conditions
– Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs
– Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
– Proficient computer skills and familiarity with telehealth platforms
